HINTS FOR THE TOUR ORGANISER AND FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Hints for the tour organiser
- Get all or the majority of people to pay you before the night (preferably one week prior to the tour), so that you have a realistic idea of your numbers. Some people may let you down, but they are less likely to do so if they have already paid.
- If you end up with a small group, Go Get Around Tours can try to organise
a bus tour with another group, so you can meet great people and have
a
fun night with smaller numbers and still pay the same amount per head
or alternatively we can arrange your own bus at an additional cost per
head.
- Remember: this is your night and shouldn't be spoilt by fighting or any damage to the vehicle, so avoid inviting any potential trouble-makers.
Remind your guests:
- to bring appropriate photo ID
- that all their club entry charges are included
- to dress appropriately (neat casual, no runners or t-shirts)
- no glass to be taken on the bus
- no alcohol is to be removed from the bus
- drinking is not allowed in the city area – on bus or streets (a couple of drinks on the bus on the way to the first nightclub is allowed, but not after entering the city and between venues)
- smoking on passenger vehicles is prohibited by law
- responsible and non aggressive behaviour is expected
- to "pace" themselves so they are not refused entry into the nightclubs
- not to bring unnecessary items that won't be used and can be lost.

Frequently asked questions
Are members of the tour allowed to drink on the bus?
Drinking is allowed on the bus, but NOT in the city area. Patrons can have
a couple of drinks on the bus on the way to the first nightclub, but not
after the bus reaches the city or when travelling between venues. Participants
can bring one or two drinks if they wish, but no glass. Any alcohol not
finished will be stored on the bus and returned at the end of the night.
Is there a dress code?
Neat casual dress will ensure you don't get left outside the nightclubs. No runners or t-shirts.
What are the pick-up and return times?
The times depend on the meeting place, but 7.30pm–8pm is a normal
pick-up time (usually to arrive in the city at 8.45pm–9pm). Get your
friends to arrive 15 to 30 minutes before the departure time. We depart
from the last nightclub at 1.45am–2am.
What happens to the photos taken during the night?
Beautiful "early in the night" and special "early in the morning" shots
are sent to the organiser or guest of honour/celebrator (you decide) usually
within a week of the tour.
If an email address is provided, we can also send some photos by email, so that you can share with your friends. Some of the photos are also available online on our website. See the nightclub tours' photo album.
How many people can we have on a bus?
Bus sizes vary from 25 up to 60 seaters. We can also arrange for double
deckers or bendy buses if necessary.
