Costings for Shopping Tours

When is the best time to send out invitations

A.

Send out invitations at least 3-4 months prior to your tour. Invitation template’s available on request.

Pick up times:

A.

We tailor the tour to suit your group.

Winery Tours & Gourmet Tours are usually 9am to 9:30am pick up and arrive back at your pick up location at 5pm to 5:30pm. Shopping tours - 7:30am pick up and 6pm back home. Progressive Dinners 6pm to 12 midnight.

“Though we are totally flexible”.

Always ask your guests to arrive at least 15 minutes early to ensure we leave on time for your fun day out.

Ideas for gathering payments from groups:

A.

  1. Set up an event in www.Trybooking.com and this records who has paid you for the tour. We prefer two payments - one for the deposit and the second for the final payment (minus the deposit). Best to ask your guests for payment at least 6 weeks prior to your tour date.
  2. As a suggestion please ask your group to pay you a $30 deposit, to ensure numbers stay high.

Cancellations

A.

A full refund of your deposit will be made when we receive at least two  months notice and can be transferred up to 1 month prior to your tour. As all preparation/ bookings are completed well in advance to maximise your choice of outlets, no refunds are  available after this time. Full payment is then due 14 days prior to your tour

Shopping Tips

A.

You will be trying on a range of clothes throughout the day, so wear a comfortable and simple outfit

If visiting food outlets, bring an esky

It may be a good idea to bring along chest, hip and waist measurements of your partner and/or children for clothing purchases

Fundraising Shopping Tours

A.

You receive 10% of gross sales purchased by your group and also a $50 bonus if you spend $6,000 or more. The average bus spends around $7,000 and around $250 per person to date.

You will also received extra cash on the day through the raffles. We have our own raffles prizes, as well as prizes from the outlets.

We send you a commission cheque within 14 days after your tour.

Commission will not be payable if your group number drops to 15 people or below on the day of the tour, regardless of how many people have been paid for.

How many people fit on a bus

A.

Our outsourced coaches have up to 57 seats. We suggest at least 2 seats are allocated for the host (for their esky, prizes, food etc). So 55 customers can fit comfortably on one coach.
We can provide up to 5 coaches for the same customer on one day if needed.

Rain, Hail or Heat wave

A.

Our tours operate regardless of what lovely weather Melbourne has to offer us.

Dietary requirements

A.

Please let us know at least one week prior to the tour if anyone has any special dietary requirements. We will do our best to provide something fresh & yummy for them.

Shopping Tours with children are Free

A.

Children under 16 travel free (if travelling with a paying adult). Lunch is an additional $20 cost. Children are not included in the group size when calculating the price.
Babies are welcome though prefer a carseat to be provided by the customer please

Are we allowed to bring glass on the bus/coach

A.

No sorry, for your safety no glass is allowed on the bus. If you have purchased wine then you can put this under the bus or somewhere safe near you.

Outlet suggestions

A.

You choose the outlets you visit from our comprehensive list and we formulate the itinerary after consultations with our knowledgeable, flexible and friendly staff. We will also give you advice on which outlets will save travelling time etc

Some guests may want to join for lunch only

A.

This is fine, though if they want to wine taste as well, we will charge them the lunch cost plus a wine tasting fee (no bus seat charge).

Do you offer suggestions about the best lunch places

A.

Tours can incorporate a tremendous three-course, or two-course restaurant lunch with a glass of wine or a BYO or Take-Away lunch option.

Pick up location

A.

This can be anywhere in Victoria. If over 40 kilometres from CBD then we may need to chat with our bus company to see if there is any extra charge.

What does the Host provide on the day of the tour

A.

Our experienced and friendly consultants provide water, soft drink, lollies and games if you are keen. They are their to help your day be a load of fun and run smoothly. They will call you the day before your tour to understand what you would like them to do..

How much to charge our guests

A.

We would advise that you charge your group slightly extra (perhaps the price category below your expected numbers) in order to cover yourself if numbers unexpectedly drop.

If you do end up with extra money as a result you can add it to your fundraising or use it for buying some drinks on the day.

When is final payment due

A.

This is due up to 2 weeks prior to the tour date. This can be paid by credit card or direct debit.  Please let us know weeks prior to tour if you need a tax invoice prior to payment please.

What happens if we have extra people people wanting to join our group last minute:

A.

We suggest you call us straight away and then we can ring the bus company  and venues to check availability. Normally the more the merrier.

Prizes

A.

As a sign of our appreciation of your efforts we would like you to enjoy a complimentary gift for the tour organiser, this is given on the day of the tour.

We also provide games if your keen on a bit of competitive flare between your friends or team members or just to fill in time whilst travelling. This is all optional at no cost and the host gives out prizes as well.

Fun to be had by all.

By Paying $150 for Shopping, or $200 for Winery and Gourmet Tours or $400 deposit for Progressive / Dinner Tours this secures your date for a tour with us.
